I joined Magnolia as a Software Engineer in 2018, became a Principal Engineer in 2022, and moved into a Team Lead role in 2025. Along the way, my work grew from Java and Magnolia CMS development to designing software, guiding technical decisions, and helping engineers grow.
These days, I build with AI throughout the development process. Claude Code is my main tool for taking a feature from an early idea through a written specification to implementation. My part is to give it clear direction, check its work, and refine the result.
There’s still plenty of engineering involved. A clear problem, good judgment, and careful review matter just as much when AI is writing the code.
This site is where I share projects, engineering ideas, and things I learn along the way—including my growing interest in cloud-native software and AI.

I help the team make sound technical decisions, grow their skills, and deliver software that meets the needs of the people we’re building it for.
- Guide software design and help engineers work through implementation.

In my own development work, I use Claude Code daily—from drafting features and specifications to having AI implement changes, followed by my review and refinement.

Guided the team’s software design and technology choices, helped engineers with their implementations, and represented the team on Magnolia’s architecture board, contributing to broader technical discussions.

Built customer onboarding software for Swiss banking using Java technologies, including JSF and Axon Ivy BPM. Worked closely with the Product Owner and a Scrum team, including on PostFinance’s digital account-opening project.

Developed insurance claims software using Guidewire ClaimCenter. Worked on AXA Solaris, including connecting it with other systems, upgrading the platform, and moving existing data to the new version.
